First of all, it’s important to point out that, for the despair of all who wished to be able to open the Nibelheim Manor Safe straight away, the safe can have a wide array of different combinations, all of which will vary from playthrough to playthrough.

With that said, you can find the combination of the safe by interacting with four different keyholes, each of which will feature a clue leading to one of the four digits. You can check out the location of all keyholes, as well as how to figure out their specific digit numbers below:

• First Digit Keyhole Location: Will be located in the northernmost portion of the Mansion. The digit will be equal to the number of books either misplaced or out of their shelves in the room.
• Second Digit Keyhole Location: Will be located in the main hall, right by the entrance and facing the staircase leading to the second floor. In order to get the number, you just need to count the number of enemies in the room.
• Third Digit Keyhole Location: Will be located in the mansion’s eastmost part, located right by the middle of the two rooms (Map view). The number will be equal to the number of Banora Whites and cans in the room.
• Fourth Digit Keyhole Location: The fourth and last keyhole will be located back in the main hall, opposite to the second one. The digit will be the same as the number of chairs in the room.
